Is FMI Biblical Studies and Seminary accredited?▸
FMI holds degree-granting authority in four U.S. states: chartered in North Carolina under N.C.G.S. §116-15(d), licensed in South Carolina under Title 59 Chapter 58 Section 30, authorized in Florida under Section 1005.06(1)(f), and religiously exempt in Georgia under O.C.G.A. 20-3-250.3(a)(6). FMI also holds accreditation with the International Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (QAHE), an international quality-assurance body. FMI is not accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education or CHEA, and we state that plainly so every student can make an informed decision.
How much does FMI cost?▸
Undergraduate tuition is $4,500 and graduate tuition is $5,000 for the full program. The Master of Christian Counseling and Master of Pastoral Counseling are $5,500, the Master of Divinity is $5,700, and the Doctor of Ministry is $6,000. A one-time $150 application and registration fee applies, and online courses carry a $150 per-course fee. Textbooks are not included.
Can I pay FMI tuition in installments?▸
Yes. FMI offers in-house payment plans across four, six, or twelve months so you can study without carrying debt. Church sponsorship and ministry-sponsored enrollment are also available.
Is FMI fully online?▸
Yes. All FMI programs are delivered online so students can study from anywhere in the world while continuing to serve in ministry, work, and family life. Our U.S. locations in Charlotte, Irmo, Jacksonville, and Atlanta serve as administrative and regional meeting offices rather than residential campuses.
Can I get credit for years of ministry experience?▸
Yes. FMI reviews a Life Learning Portfolio documenting your ministry experience, training, and demonstrated competency, and may award credit accordingly. The portfolio review fee is $100 and credit assessment is $100.
